Relocation

A carpenter recalls his youth, when he lived in the heart of the forest, as his grandparents had done before him. Living conditions were very difficult at the time, and he had no access to school or health services. When the village population was relocated to another site by the authorities, they were finally able to benefit from support provided by the ongoing conservation project, such as schooling and health centers. James is happy with this change for himself and his children, and can no longer imagine returning to live in the bush.
