Price of Life

Maria is an elderly woman who lives in a remote village in Papua New Guinea. Reflecting on her youth, she notes with regret that even in the small community of Miruma, today’s youth are now dependent on manufactured goods in their daily lives, including for their food. Local products are increasingly being replaced by imported goods, and at the same time, prices continue to rise. This creates a difficult economic situation for the population.
