Pygmy music by plastic sound

User licence

Robert Sambo, fisherman in Bayanga in the Central African Republic, is sorry. The music and therefore the Sangha-Sangha’s cultural identity and Pygmies are disappearing. The sounds of ancestral drums have been replaced by those of plastic cans and pot lids. With the disappearance of the elders, the know-how was lost and today the younger generations no longer know how to make tams-tams.
