Humanity is capable

Raymond Lucas is an 81-year-old retiree living on Reunion Island. He bears witness to the proliferation of mosquitoes resulting from the drying up of ravines and the disappearance of the aquatic wildlife that once inhabited them. Raymond is saddened that people are responding by using insecticides, which create further environmental imbalances. He appeals to the public’s “common sense” and wishes to share the following message: “Let us save the conditions for life on this planet.” “Humanity is Capable” was ranked 3rd for the Grand Prize at the 2020 ePOP Competition.
