As a young child, I grew up with the idea that global warming was a critical issue. I grew up in New Caledonia that, as most of the Pacific nations is concerned by sea level rise, and I thought I would become a scientist to study and protect our earth. But years passing, I got interested in drawing and cinema, and art is now an inherent part of my life. That’s why when I heard about the ePOP project, I was so interested in involving myself in this adventure: it was a way to get involved again in ecology, and that maybe I had something new to bring on this subject with my artistic experiences. Finally, it is an opportunity for me to discover a new island of our ocean I didn’t know before, and to meet young people from other countries, other cultures, other languages and work all together to build something new, and I’m very excited about that.
