Sara Valentina BLANCO VANEGAS

My name is Sara Blanco, and I am an Environmental Engineering student who is passionate about using storytelling and audiovisual media to inspire environmental awareness.

In 2025, I created an environmental video that was nominated in two categories and finished in sixth place. That experience showed me the power of visual storytelling to connect with people, raise awareness, and encourage positive action. Since then, I have been motivated to keep creating meaningful content that highlights environmental challenges and the people working to protect our planet.

Through my academic projects, I have focused on topics such as urban wetlands, water quality, and sustainability, and I enjoy transforming these experiences into stories that are engaging, accessible, and impactful. I believe that every video has the potential to educate, inspire, and spark conversations that lead to real change.
